I saw a show at the Fox in Atlanta recently. Was not impressed.

Random video I found while looking at UT highlights today, and just wanted to share it. Music actually starts at around the 2:00 mark, but when asked what the difference between a violin and a fiddle is, the kid answers (correctly) "A violin has strings. A fiddle has strangs."

Funny story on Blake Shelton....

He's sold his name to a bar on the corner of 3rd and Broad downtown. The Ryman has a hand in it too. Anyways, I spent three weeks of hell removing and replacing water and sewer lines to the mains there. Metro made them repave most of 3rd ave between Broadway and Commerce. This was a substantial cost (over $30k). This was in May. Metro has now milled up 3rd from Broad to Church and is repaving it due to a gas line replacement. Pretty much, they made them pave the road for 3 months before Metro themselves tore it to hell and repaved it.

They are now fighting with Metro. I am laughing.

 

I had that happen more than once with CT DOT while building fiber structures.

Have an inspector over my shoulder measuring my lifts and compaction for a 36" crossing, go back after a month to mill and finish coat only to have them doing a full resurfacing 2 months later.
