I mean, you gotta give up something decent to get a 30+ points a game guy and Jrue, Grayson, and a first round pick is pretty good work by the Milwaukee GM.

 

I think the reason I agree is because they still have plenty of defense with Lopez and Giannis. Those two mitigate the defensive loss, and obviously the offensive gain is massive.

 

And, no more dumbass drop defense, either.

 

A day removed (almost), I'm still not sure the Bucks are that much better with Dame instead of Jrue.

Also, the Jrue sweepstakes are about to be fun. There are so many teams who could use him and will go after him. I think the scariest is GSW.

 

That’s probably the last place the Bucks wanted to see Holiday go.

 

Basketball is back. Sucks that so many of the best teams are out West. Games going past midnight are tough.

 

LeBron only playing 29 minutes last night seems like a step in the right direction. It accomplishes 3 goals:

1. It helps keep LeBron fresh for the entire season
2. It helps LeBron go harder and be more impactful when he's out on the court
3. It allows the Lakers to give more minutes to their role players to help truly evaluate them.

I like it.

Also, CP3, despite the poor shooting night, looked pretty good with the GSW. And man, Devin Booker is still shooting the lights out.

 

With Lillard in tow, Giannis is going to have to learn to not go into hero mode so much. He, especially, needs to stop chucking threes early in the clock. Move the ball and get yourself in advantageous positions for your particular skill set. We got Lillard to chuck those fourth quarter threes.

 

Helluva start for Lillard.

 

Jamal Murray and Jayson Tatum are really good looking players.

 

Bron has apparently played the 2nd most minutes so far this season, and if you count overtime, he's first. Lol what a joke.

Great game by him last night though. It's unbelievable that he's still this good.

I'm sorry - best passer in NBA history? Seems like a bit of a leap.

 

Smells like a prisoner of the moment take.

 

I'm on board with calling him the best passing big man of all time at this point. He's one of the best passers in NBA history and may eventually go down as the best. But it's too early to say that right now.
