You would think politicians would be more savvy about these kinds of things. Know when to choose your battles, etc.

 

They watched a party that fought and stonewalled everything for 8 years get and hold congress. They watched the most aggressive candidate ever get elected. So they're supposed to play it cool? Dont kid yourself, this how America apparently wants it: Rabid.

 

This is an interesting take. And I cannot refute it.

 

I fully support either she or Booker for Democratic Nominee.

No. We do this in softball. Starting in the 10th inning, International Tiebreaker Rule takes effect.

The person making the last out from the previous inning starts on 2nd base. Conventional wisdom is to bunt the runner to 3rd base where a deep fly ball, squeeze bunt, passed ball, wild pitch, etc can score the run.

 

America seems cool with it as long as it is on their partisan side

Trump complains that the NY Times runs a "fake news" story that he hasn't talked to the Chinese since November 14th by saying "We spoke at length yesterday!" The, literally, first line of the article:

"President Trump told President Xi Jinping of China on Thursday evening that the United States would honor the “One China” policy, reversing his earlier expressions of doubt about the longtime diplomatic understanding and removing a major source of tension between the United States and China since shortly after he was elected"

 

This is precisely why I'm not a fan of discussing politics. There's simply too much blind allegiance based on party lines and an extreme inability process criticism of any kind. More often than not it seems folks generally have no idea or personal opinion on the matter and their position is based on what facebook or some other social media is pushing.
