Ah, further down the google page, Kanye lost his billionaire status after cutting ties with Adidas, apparently. So if he is no longer a billionaire, I guess that bumps Rihanna up to richest, even if she has lost net worth since we last discussed.

 

Google it again. Adidas dropped him, his net worth is down to $400.

And yes, Indy. That's what happens when there is a downturn in the economy. People lose money. Even wealthy people. It's just that going from $1.7 billion to $1.4 billion, while a big chunk in absolute terms, doesn't have a huge relative effect.
