I've said it before, I'll say it again. Franklin's biggest accomplishment is convincing so many people he's accomplished something.

 

How many wins do they get this year? Looking at the schedule I'd say 5-6. Am I giving them too much credit?

he might be a douchebag and his 9 win season was an anomoly, but he still has a 9 win season at freaking Vanderbilt. Dooley and Kiffin couldn't do that at UT.

 

True, but Kiffin would've done it with that schedule. Dooley couldn't do it on PlayStation.

 

I agree that it took a perfect context to make it real, but he still won 9 games with a sorry team at a sorry program (which is often how we evaluate coaches "winning over their heads"), and as cherry on top, beat the living hell out of UT.
