even though I think he's brilliant, I don't think Romney can win, so i'm not going to vote for him. I doubt i'm the only one. can't say I've decided who I will vote for otherwise though. jeb pumping the terri schiavo stuff recently pissed me off.

 

As of today I would vote for rubio.

The presidency isn't remotely about trust. Obama was the least trustworthy guy in the whole field and won twice. It's abiut telegenics, theatre and being media darling. Oir media is now co-opted for elections.

I'm just saying talking about "forcing" a neighboring country who is our #2 trade partner to pay for a fence is... whatever the opposite of diplomacy and civility is. Can you imagine if another nation talked about forcing us to do anything?

 

Conservative populism is the worst. It's the kind of populism that can break towards fascism in a hurry. I like my conservatism boring and thoughtful and mildly unpopular.

 

Given the many billions a year that gets sent there from here and the millions of their citizens we are supporting, educating, etc, seems like it's the very least they can do.
