That's something he definitely doesn't understand, norris. It's what so many people don't understand. Hell, you can be a pretty good quarterback and never get a chance (Rivers).
If LeBron acted like he does now, scored a TD, and celebrated it like he does his dunks by taunting the crowd, he'd be criticized nonstop too.
He celebrates with his teammates literally every single time. Even when he runs down the sideline, he's running toward Webb and Anderson (the other QBs) to do their layup thing. Acting like running down the sideline is way worse than grabbing your balls, directly taunting other individual players like Watt did with his selfie (which Mettenberger deserved, btw) or Odell charging Josh Norman and hitting him in the head 5 seconds after the whistle is freaking ridiculous.
Funnily enough, the only thing Smith said about any of these recent topics was this: http://espn.go.com/nfl/story/_/id/1...izing-perception-carolina-panthers-cam-newton Crazy talk.
Tongue in cheek. He's generally a POS. Nobody worth a plug nickel does crap like that. You step across Urban's tolerance line, you suck.
you seriously think a teammate that wants any prayer of playing for the panthers next year is going to say anything negative about the star qb?
to me duration matters. 4 or 5 seconds fine. 1 minute, then you are a douchebag. we can agree to disagree.
They certainly aren't required to scream that they love him or speak up in his defense. Plus, they almost certainly can't afford to keep Tolbert anyway. Nice try though
