I'd say that's fine, other than Beckham. At no point would I say that Cam deserved to get suspended. Odell was deliberately trying to injure someone, and by now we all know about Cam's unwillingness to risk injury.
Oh Cam. Don't ever stop talking. No further words need to be said to explain the level of his self-centered ass holeness. Just stick a mic in front of him. He'll take care of the rest.
Let's face it, sometimes balls need to be grabbed. And scratched (pinch and roll anyone?) And readjusted. And...
Throwing this out there because I hadn't realized it before: Peyton Manning has been a first-team All-Pro 7 times. No other quarterback has more than 3, and Brady has two. Peyton has 3 more second-team nods, to Brady's one. So: Seasons as a top-2 QB: Manning 10, Brady 3 Seasons as the best QB: Manning 7, Brady 2 MVP seasons: Manning 5, Brady 2 People can decide for themselves whether a 4-2 edge in rings trumps that, but that's a pretty strong argument in Peyton's favor to me.
The lone metric in Brady's favor is the titles argument, which is the most heavily team oriented measure there is.
Not really a metric, but I put some stock in the pressure situation argument as well. With 2 minutes left, Brady is the absolute last QB I'd want to see. Team obviously matters there too, but it's not just team. Still, I was surprised to learn that Brady has only been an All-Pro--even including second team--in 3 out of 15 seasons.
I knew that. I remember the 3200-yard, 25-TD seasons. But I still expected more than 3. That's still 8 seasons of big numbers
