Them and Peabody are both really good. It'll be a good game. IMO either of them would give Alcoa a better game in 3A that Milan will.

 

They are friggin loaded.

 

Our boys and fans think we can win. Love the attitude but we dont have the beef and the 15 swing passes we run per game will be stuffed

 

Yeah but Peabody and Meigs still wouldn't be within 20 to 30 points at best

 

this game on right now has been awesome. Heated competition. Lot of talking and some good hits. Very good coaches

 

A good friend from college was from Trenton-Peabody, one of the funniest human beings I know. He's fired up about the recent football success

so just saw a 15 yard penalty for "hurdling". You mean to tell me when a db is coming in low at the knees, you cant jump over him? Screw that. Dumb rule and haven't seen it called all year in Brentwood games

 

My old high school coach is somewhere smiling, he hated when we tried to do it

 

i get not hurdling for a highlight but when someone is coming in low and hard or stumbling, I'm taking my son out of the sport before telling him not to be an athlete and take a low shot instead.

I've seen it called when a ball carrier hops over a defender whose laying prone on the ground.

 

whats worse are the rationalizations on twitter and other social media. "lets see what happened prior". "Ref must have made some bad calls", etc. Sickening. An example of how the world has changed imo. I cannot imagine rationalization of such an act, or, anyone I know personally even thinking about looking for a valid reason
