That's definitely part of the mystery to me. Hey, it worked out. I'm not complaining. But that isn't a "play the odds" kind of play. But then again putting Croom 1v1 against a guy who is 7" shorter and about 50-60lbs smaller is playing the odds. We saw how that worked out.
Why North isn't force fed 12 touches a game is beyond me. The guy is going to be a first round pick. Throw a screen to him? Nah, we'll use Josh Smith. Run him over the middle? Nah, we've got Pig (who is a good WR but come on) We'll continue to run go routes and fades in the redzone
I don't get it either, JG. It makes you think that if we had a Gurley, he'd go with only 6 carries in a game here too.
I don't get it either. Is North being blanketed? Shouldn't matter, dude has shown that he will catch just about anything within a 5-6' radius of his body. I'm convincing myself that it's some elaborate ruse by Baja. Defenses will think to key in on Pig and Croom then BAM North is centerpieced against Florida. 9 catches for 163 yards and 2 TDs. I can dream.
I think the Texas admin, saw something also, it's very funny how he was locked down, and then all of a sudden free to leave on is own! Seems the former Texas coach in waiting was really the Florida Dud!
Yes, we should have won on Saturday, but we're young, and were making the mistakes at the time we needed to be perfect, but this Florida team is so being misused, by a failing staff of idiots! I believe in second chances and seems Richt's old crew is doing something right! Which makes me wonder, if all the ga locker room stories are true???
Yes it is. I don't know who Taylor's backup is, but he's been a really good ball player for them. Orr is the guy that I was worried about up front just pushing Crowder into the play every snap.
Looks like his backup is Jarrad Davis. A sophomore. If my research is correct, he has never played a snap.
