Just that exposing liberals for hypocrites and making them look like the rabid political animals that they are is not a consolation prize that Trump, or you, should be happy with. As completely rabid as the left is right now, Trump has not impressed through 4 months. He creates one circus after another and gets little to nothing done. The media is no more out for blood now than they were when Reagan was there. But Reagan actually won the PR war. Trump's approval rating is sub-40 because he's proving to be incompetent at creating and controlling the narrative at every turn. In your heart I suspect you know all this and that you also are beginning to wonder if the job is too big for him.

Man, what if it were Comey who was the one to take down both Clinton and Trump, the two worst presidential nominees of the modern age. He might get a holiday or something.

 

Even if his memo is true, there isn't anything there to act on. At all.

Comey is a deep state leaker, and a gate keeper for the elite. I'm glad he's gone, but am not at all surprised that he's choosing to leave this way.

I don't care if they get the tapes or not, even if what Comey says is true (I just wrote a memo that it isn't), there's nothing that rises to anything remotely close to anything.

It'll be a 24-hour PR hit, if even that.

 

The Russia investigation. The memo was regarding Flynn, which is separate (because he was a foreign agent for Turkey as well).

 

This is the way I see it. Trump either will wheel and deal his way to prosperity. Or he will be a do nothing president opposed at every stage and opportunity. So essentially its a win-win with no downside risk.
