Klay can play the 3 (Iggy traded to Memphis), but a Curry-Russell backcourt could be a problem on defense.
He’s not as efficient from 3 as the other two, though I guess he can improve. No idea why they’re paying him that much, though.
Part of me wants to think the Lakers let all their backup options sign elsewhere because they’re confident about landing Kawhi. The other part of me thinks they’re going to miss out on Kawhi and go back to being the laughing stock of the NBA.
They would still have the mid level exception and they’d sign a bunch of guys to veteran minimum contracts. I’m sure buss would go into the luxury tax to fill out the roster.
And the pitch will be “Come play with 3 of the top 5 or 6 players in the league and win a championship.”
The NBA needs to rip ownership away from Dolan. He might be the worst owner of the big 4 professional leagues.
I think he’s doing a fantastic job and the NBA should consider themselves lucky to have him on board.
I don't even like the Knicks, but it's a mockery of what he has done to that franchise. But, I guess the NBA has a legit team in Brooklyn now, so the Knicks are less important.
I know I'll be rooting for the 76ers next season. Two Vols in their starting line up is the quickest way to get me to care about them.
I want to, but they are the competition now. The Bucks blew their best chance in my lifetime last year and they didn't get better this offseason. Also, the Jazz will be interesting next year, too.
I don’t. They got worse. Butler is better than any of his replacements, and a team desperate for shooting lost by far its best shooter in Redick. Not sure a Simmons/Richardson/Harris/Horford/Embiid lineup has even one shooter that scares opponents. Harris is also better as a 4 than a 3.
