Yeah, it is pretty much garbage.

History channel had a marksman contest show I really liked not too long ago, but I'll be damned if it hasn't mostly gone to hell.

 

On Direct TV the military channel was bumped for the American History Channel. Only problem is I've yet to see anything related. It's always Hitler's Bodyguards or some history about Nazi's.

 

Don't even get me started on the ****ing History Channel. Basic cable is, basically, one giant reality show now, of some variety or another. Why is it called the History Channel when all the shows are about what people are doing right now?

 

Or how space aliens explain all of the ancient world's mysteries.

 

That one really gets me. Gotta love it when networks founded on education and science sell out.

Is it cheaper to do these reality shows than produce an hour long documentary on something?
