What a transformation this guy had the past few years now somehow having an MLK voice. Definitely not performative (supposed to be on the other thread, not trump)

He did go full southern preacher

He was raised in DC from ages 11-15 and then did school in the NE from 18-22 or so.

Seems he went back to Memphis around 2018 or so.

His father is a preacher in Memphis.

My guess is that style of oration comes very naturally to him but at Bowdin he leaned on his influences from 11-15 and at Bowdin to fit the expected style.

Dude is weird af, his theatrical MLK imitation and all. Really glad the Republicans stupidly made him into a household political name nationally.

Trump is suing Cohen for $500 million for breach of contract. That is rich coming from him.

Just caught up reading the last several pages. Two things come to mind. You can get a grand jury to indict a ham sandwich, and Trump probably did violate some bookkeeping law.

He will probably win. Cohen might be the dumbest person on the planet. It amazes me that he got a law degree.

He’s not going to win a $500 million dollar judgement against Cohen.

Violating an NDA as deemed to be the case there according to the United States legal system has financial ramifications. Shocker

I do have to wonder how a judge will view guy A suing guy B when guy B is a star witness in a on ongoing criminal case against guy A.

Guy B being an actual convicted felon who is on sworn testimonial record vouching for the innocence of Guy A certainly is not ideal for Guy B legally speaking. Both in this case and the criminal one

You never know, but yeah, that doesn't seem realistic.

Even if he won that he would never collect it. Cohen will not earn that in 5 life times.

Start out by asking for an ungodly and non realistic figure in an effort to maximize your chances at winding up on a figure that ultimately satisfies you. Whether it be lawsuits or real estate negotiations. That play is so Donald Trump and basically summarizes the entire book The Art Of The Deal
