I haven't read it but will check it out. He's not wrong though, anyone on here that's been in the military and deployed has been through workups. It's the same premise really. You're always training to be better and prepared. 20% is a lot but they should certainly be doing some sort of continuous education on a monthly basis at a minimum.
6 months out of the academy, with no degree maybe, so... 21/22 year old dude making $20 an hour? https://www.nashville.gov/Police-De...-a-Police-Officer/Pay-Scale-and-Benefits.aspx
I've not been to any anti government or second ammendment rallies/protests, but I didn't know they were so inclusive.
There are a lot of bones for me to pick with this article, but the topper is using Haiti as an example of how there's still slavery in the world today. Does he even know how that place became a [uck fay]ing country? I guess, like Travis, he found a market to make a buck.
https://www.globalslaveryindex.org/2018/data/country-data/haiti/ A quick google search also indicates it’s a bit of a problem there
It's still a bit of a problem here, too. But, the article states we would be like Haiti without Jefferson, but fails to note Haiti exists as a country because of a slave revolt and banned slavery earlier than the US. The difference today is poverty (Which the US did a lot to cultivate in Haiti for many years, but that's a different story) and a host of other factors, not because of Jefferson being the difference. There's still a lot in the article which is silly, like most everything on that website.
About once a year I'll see something he wrote spread around that I'll read and it actually makes sense. The other 364 days.......................yeah.
